SOUTH-PERFORMANCE MEMBERS
At South Performance we know how to combine our high experience with the respective quality requirements of our services. We focus on the essentials and maintain our focus on effective performance at all times.
Together with the South performance team we are always in constant changes and advances to provide our clients with the best possible service, that is why we have created a Card for Members, with this we seek to innovate and give a degree of greater exclusivity to those who entrust their projects day by day with us. Its main function is to corroborate with a serial number given on the card what type of reprogramming we have carried out on the vehicle, in this way also future clients and owners will be able to corroborate this information.

Important points to keep in mind when doing a reprogramming..
In this communication, we imply and the client accepts that a Remap (Chiptuning) may involve certain risks, which include, among others, mechanical failures in the vehicle, fire, explosion, personal injuries that may occur due to the lack of control of the vehicle due to increased / excess power or abusive driving.
The remap with additional ones like downpipe, or exhaust lines, They are only designed for offroad use.
Also the customer should be aware that this installation may or may not cause the vehicle to lose the dealer’s warranty and SouthPerformance will not be liable.
Warranty By ECM, the South Performance warranty policy only covers the ECM (Control Unit) therefore if your vehicle is damaged in our facilities, as there is a very minimal failure rate during the writing and programming process. As South Performance we will exhaust all instances to resolve the problem in the shortest possible time.
The Customer has the option of returning the ECM to stock by removing the Remap, assuming the cost of the installation. Which each distributor must handle.
Remap upgrade: If our clients already have Stage1 of our brand, our policy of upgrading to stage2 in Turbo Gasoline vehicles will allow them to pay only the difference between st1 and st2, within a maximum period of 6 months. Any upgrade after this time, requires payment from scratch.
South Performance does not offer any written or implied warranties with respect to these Custom Remaps (Custom), Pops & bang, Big Turbo, stage3, which require an experienced user.
If you need to validate your remap (Reprogramming) or request your membership card write to us at Contacto@southperformance.com
Before and after aRescheduling
At South-Performance we are known for transparency, so we want to clarify some very important issues.
Things to be clear about before rescheduling:
– The client who wants to carry out a reprogramming in South performance, must be aware of the history of his vehicle, so it is advisable to have the maintenance guidelines up to date. Among the elements that we highlight as essential are the spark plugs, fuel filter, air and lubricants.
Once the reprogramming has been carried out, it must be taken into account that:
– For vehicles that use gasoline, as a rule it will be to use 97 octane fuel, it is recommended that on warm days avoid over demanding the vehicle if you do not have all the Upgrades for your stage. We will recommend the use of an octane booster, for the days you want to overstress your vehicle.
– Due to the increase in the boost pressure, the hoses or pipes that are weakened may be affected.
– Fuel pumps can be affected, since it is an element with a limited useful life and usually denotes post repro malfunction, since the increase in the parameters shows the lack of flow or pressure of these.
– The ignition coils, such as the previous one, are elements that have a limited useful life and must be monitored to be aware of when they should be replaced.
– In the case of vehicles with a turbo compressor, one of the modifications to achieve power is to increase the engine charge pressure, therefore, a worn turbo could be affected. As there is also a history of delicate turbos that fail even without reprogramming.
– In the case of Clutches, increasing power could clearly decrease the life of a clutch that is already worn, so we recommend monitoring or improving the clutch system.
– In the case of AT, DSG, CVT transmissions, etc. Given that an increase in power and torque can generate premature wear to a transmission that is not in optimal condition, if the transmission presents pre-existing undetected faults, these could be evidenced post reprogramming.
– In the case of deactivations in the exhaust gas treatment systems, we will only recommend them for sports and off road use. It is the total responsibility of the client to comply with current regulations.
– In cases of reprogramming higher than Stage2, Pops and bang, custom remap, turbo upgrade, additional injection of (Methanol, H2O, alcohol). The client accepts all responsibility and understands that he must use and understand the use of control elements such as wideband, pyrometer, boost gauge, engine temp, oil pressure, among others. Since there are associated risks, we recommend only for connoisseurs.
– In the market there are many brands, some of these are characterized by having typical failures in their systems, therefore, we invite you to investigate and always be attentive to them, in order to avoid damaging your vehicle by elements that can be repaired in repair campaigns. dealers or privately. Some of the most recurring failures that we have recorded are:
-Coils
-Have fun
-Wastgage
-Fuel pump relay.
-Fuel pumps (High and Low pressure)
-Turbs
-Faults in motor assembly (Oil consumption)
-Failures in DSG transmissions.
Once all these points have been understood, we want to point out that we will always provide the best advice that is within our reach so that your vehicle is in optimal condition, but since there are various factors such as those set out above, we will not be responsible for any type of mechanical damage suffered. post reprogramming.
We want to make it clear that the commercialization of all our software has been previously tested and meets all quality and safety requirements, delivering optimal performance in reprogrammed vehicles.
